Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP is a derived from your own blood. The process is fairly simple:

  • Blood is drawn from the patient
  • We use a special system called the Harvest system. The Harvest uses special centrifuge chamber to separate the blood into various components.
  • These components are remixed to obtain a special portion of the blood called PRP.

PRP contains a high concentration of special chemicals called growth factors. Our bodies use growth factors as chemical messengers to call in healing cells and proteins. We call fat with added PRP “SmartFat”. This SmartFat” is essentially sending “text messages” to the body to promote healing and fat cell survival.
